InformationBodyThis article explains how to connect your Mindbody account to your Emma account. The Mindbody integration imports contacts from your Mindbody account to your Emma audience on a nightly basis. It's a one-way sync where data is only being passed from Mindbody to Emma, so contacts in Mindbody will not be updated with any information from Emma, other than opt-outs. You can also pair it with our automation and segmenting tools, so that you can create email campaigns that strategically target your audience. In this article Which contacts are eligible for the import? How to set up the Mindbody integration Map Mindbody client indexes Additional resources Which contacts are eligible for the import? Contacts must meet several criteria in Mindbody in order to be included in the nightly import. Those who do not meet all of the criteria below will not be included: They must be active. They must have a unique email address (if multiple contacts share an email address, they will only count as one contact in Emma). They must be subscribed to newsletters or promotions. They must have been modified in Mindbody within the last 18 months. Contacts who are regularly interacting with your organization should automatically meet most of these criteria, as any action like attending a class, scheduling an appointment, or renewing their contract will update them in Mindbody. If a contact hasn’t been updated in the last 18 months, that means they haven’t attended a class, scheduled an appointment, renewed their contract, or taken any other action that would make a change in Mindbody in the last 1.5 years. Anyone who has been unengaged for that long shouldn’t be on your email list; it’s best to only send to engaged contacts, as this protects your sending reputation and complies with our Terms of Service. Contacts who stop meeting the criteria above will no longer be included in the nightly import. However, they will not be removed from the Mindbody audience group in Emma. We recommend periodically emptying the Mindbody group in Emma and then manually clicking the Sync now button to run an import and return the current contacts to the group. ⒾThe integration will run an import once a day at midnight CT, or whenever you choose to run it manually. Map Mindbody client indexes Client indexes are unique to Mindbody and you can map the indexes to the corresponding Emma fields. Then, you can create segments for each of the client index values that you want to target. For example, if you have a client index set up called Primary Fitness Goal and one of the available values is Run faster, you would map the index to a field in Emma called Fitness Goal and then create a segment where that field equals Run faster (case sensitive) and then name the segment Clients who want to run faster.
