InformationBodyThis article goes over some frequently asked questions about the Mindbody integration. The Mindbody integration imports contacts from your Mindbody account to your Emma audience on a nightly basis. You can also pair it with our automation and segmenting tools, so that you can create email campaigns that strategically target your audience. Here, we'll answer some of frequently asked questions and provide a list of Mindbody fields that are available for mapping to your Emma account. I'm currently using the legacy Mindbody integration (V5). How can I disconnect it? You can disconnect your legacy Mindbody integration by following the steps below. If you're working in a tiered account, you'll need to navigate to the appropriate subaccount first. Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of your screen.Select Integrations from the dropdown menu.Locate the Mindbody icon and click on the Revoke access button. Once you've completed these steps, you can follow the steps here to set up the current integration. I can’t authenticate with my Mindbody credentials, what should I do? There are three basic types of Mindbody users: corporate (if a franchise), business owner, and staff. Staff accounts can be grouped into several different permission groups. For non-franchises with a single Mindbody site, authentication requires a business owner account. This would be the original account that was used to set up the Mindbody site. For franchises with a corporate login, you'll need to use the corporate login for the first authentication screen and a staff login for the second authentication screen. If you do not have a staff login, you'll need to create one before you install Emma for Mindbody. If your account is based outside the US, you’ll need to contact Mindbody for assistance authenticating your account. I just connected my Mindbody account to my Emma account, but only some of my Mindbody contacts synced over. What’s going on? Contacts must meet several criteria in Mindbody in order to be included in the nightly import. Those who do not meet all of the criteria below will not be included: They must be active. They must have a unique email address (if multiple contacts share an email address, they will only count as one contact in Emma). They must be subscribed to newsletters or promotions. They must have been modified in Mindbody within the last 18 months. Contacts who are regularly interacting with your organization should automatically meet most of these criteria, as any action like attending a class, scheduling an appointment, or renewing their contract will update them in Mindbody. If a contact hasn’t been updated in the last 18 months, that means they haven’t attended a class, scheduled an appointment, renewed their contract, or taken any other action that would make a change in Mindbody in the last 1.5 years. Anyone who has been unengaged for that long shouldn’t be on your email list; it’s best to only send to engaged contacts, as this protects your sending reputation and complies with our Terms of Service. Contacts who stop meeting the criteria above will no longer be included in the nightly import. However, they will not be removed from the Mindbody audience group in Emma. We recommend periodically emptying the Mindbody group in Emma and then manually clicking the Sync now button to run an import and return the current contacts to the group. Why aren't my recently created indexes populating data in Emma? Due to caching, you may not see data come through for indexes you've just created; if this is the case, try waiting at least 5 minutes and then sync again. How can I connect multiple Mindbody studios to my Emma account? You can only connect one Mindbody site per Emma account. If you have a tiered account, then you can connect one Mindbody account per Emma subaccount. How do I disconnect my Mindbody account from my Emma account? If you need to disconnect the Mindbody integration, follow these steps: Navigate to your Audience tab.Click on the Connect section in the panel on the left.Click on the Deactivate button next to the Mindbody sync. If you also need to remove Emma from your Mindbody account, you'll need to reach out to Mindbody Support for instructions. Which Mindbody fields are available for mapping in Emma?
